Eko is a constellation of classical instrumentation, organic sound design, and experimental bass set to downtempo beats. An international collaboration that challenges the boundaries of electronic music and audio narrative, Eko is a collection of co-crafted musings on loss and discovery.

The album is the brainchild of Zenotope and Devo Bekin, who met in San Francisco in 2012. Their kindred creativity and mutual interest in producing provocative melodic soundscapes drew them to collaborate. The pair set out with the intention of writing music that transcends genre expectations and offers new perspective on contemporary electronic music. Eko's inception began after Devo had returned to his home country of Turkey.

Devo passed away in December of 2013. Eko--the turkish word for Echo--is being released in honor of his memory.
